Castelnuovo Cilento (SA)
29th edition of the festival dedicated to the tragic and comic expression of ancient theatre, held in Castelnuovo Cilento, at the Talamo-Atenolfi Castle. The programme includes five evenings with performances inspired by Greek and Latin classics: Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, Menander's The Arbitration, Plato's Symposium, and a diptych on Medea and Clytemnestra based on Dario Fo, Franca Rame and Marguerite Yourcenar. All shows start at 8:30 PM, and admission is free until seats run out.
Rassegna Teatrale "Antonio Di Troia" 2026
Altavilla Irpina (AV)
The Achille Fardini Theater Company, in collaboration with the Pro Loco Altavillese and under the patronage of the Municipality of Altavilla Irpina, presents the theater festival "Antonio Di Troia" 2026. Seven shows take place at the Teatro Comunale A. Sardone between August 30 and October 4, 2026. The program opens on Sunday, August 30 at 7:00 PM with "Il morto è vivo", directed by Riccardo D'Avanzo. The subscription for the entire festival costs 35 euros, a single ticket 8 euros.

Maddaloni (CE)
Sabato 12 settembre 2026, alle ore 21.00, la Basilica del Corpus Domini di Maddaloni ospita la rappresentazione dell'opera 'Cavalleria Rusticana' di Pietro Mascagni, tratta dalla tragedia di Giovanni Verga. L'evento, patrocinato dal Comune di Maddaloni, vede l'esibizione dell'orchestra Domenico Cimarosa diretta da Ivano Caiazza e del coro Alter Chorus di Molfetta. L'opera è inserita nella rassegna 'Risonanze di Fede'.
Madama Butterfly
Portici (NA)
L'opera lirica "Madama Butterfly" di Giacomo Puccini sarà rappresentata a Portici, presso l'arena di Villa Mascolo. L'evento fa parte del cartellone "Portici MovEvents 2025/2026", finanziato dalla Città Metropolitana di Napoli. L'organizzazione è curata dall'Associazione Culturale Pomeriggio Musicale, che detiene l'esclusiva per la Campania.
