On Thursday 29 October 2026, at 7 pm, Palazzo Vallelonga hosts Patrizio Oliva for the meeting "Oltre il Ring: lo sport come riscatto" (Beyond the Ring: sport as redemption). The event is part of the second edition of Nativi Vesuviani, the series dedicated to meetings, dialogues and book presentations. The Olympic and world boxing champion tells his human and sporting story, between determination and redemption, in a discussion aimed above all at young people. At the centre of the dialogue are the educational value of sport and the rejection of all forms of violence. The meeting is curated by journalist Anna Maria Di Luca. The series is promoted and organised with the contribution of the Comune di Torre del Greco, as part of Contribuiamo alla Cultura 2026.
