Opening parade of the 7th edition of the Palio del Santo

Grand medieval parade with flag throwers, fire eaters and men-at-arms for the opening of the seventh edition of the Palio del Santo. Followed by a food evening offered by Il Panettiere and Vita vecchia Osteria, with the chance to enjoy sorbets, fresh fruit and cocktails by Ricordi. The event takes place on Friday 11 September 2026 at 8:30 pm in Piazza Umberto I in San Marzano sul Sarno.

The Municipality of San Marzano sul Sarno organizes the welcome party for the start of the 2026/2027 school year, with entertainment activities for students of local schools. The events will take place over two days: on September 11, 2026 at the elementary school on Via Pendino and the elementary school in Piazza Amendola, and on September 21, 2026 at the kindergarten on Via Pio La Torre. The activities are entrusted to the Boom Animation Cooperative Society and include games, entertainment and festive moments for the little ones.

The Parish of San Biagio V. e M. organizes the solemn celebrations in honor of the Patron Saint, with a rich civil program taking place from September 11 to 19, 2026. The evenings in Piazza Umberto I include: on September 11, the band parade and opening ceremony with the reading of the Testament of Saint Blaise; on September 12, a musical show; on September 13, the Juniores event "Palio del Santo" and a dance evening; on September 14, a musical evening; on September 15, the show "La Corrida"; on September 19, the final singing performance. At the Urban Park, from September 16 to 18, the "Games of the Palio" are held.
