The community of Paolisi celebrates Maria SS. Addolorata with four days of religious and civil events organized by the Parish of SS. Apostoli Andrea e Tommaso, with the patronage of the Municipality.
From Thursday 17 to Saturday 19 September, the preparatory triduum includes the Rosary at 6:00 PM and Mass at 6:30 PM each evening in the church of San Tommaso Apostolo. On Sunday 20, the liturgical feast, the day opens with the morning Mass, continues with the solemn procession through the streets of the town, and closes with the Eucharistic concelebration.
The civil program enlivens the evenings: on the 18th, concert by the Jovanotti Tribute Band, on the 19th, Anonimo Neomelodic Party, both at the oratory parking lot in Via G. Agnelli. On the 20th, the band Piccola Orchestra S. Cecilia parades through the streets from the morning, while in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, La Corrida Paolisana takes place. Grand finale with the fireworks show.
