The Municipality of Manocalzati promotes a project for the cultural, artistic and territorial enhancement of the Castle and the village of San Barbato, which for the occasion become a widespread centre of cultural experience and production. The opening days are four: 12, 13, 26 and 27 December 2026. On those days the rooms of the castle can be visited free of charge and the visit route is accompanied by music, theatre, dance, visual arts, installations and storytelling, with activities dedicated to children as well. The initiative brings together the enjoyment of the tangible heritage, the stones of the castle and the shape of the village, and the enhancement of the intangible heritage of the area. Particular attention is paid to families, young people and people with disabilities.
