The initiative "Franchino - La Memoria nelle Mani" pays tribute to the figure of Franchino, the historic shoemaker of via San Vito in Forio, and to the heritage of artisanal knowledge that his work represents for the community. The event includes moments of testimony and storytelling, the collection of memories linked to the craftsman and the creation of an artistic piece dedicated to him. A video interview is also planned to document the memory and the artisanal techniques, so as to preserve and enhance them in the future as well. The initiative is promoted by the Associazione culturale IncontrArte ETS with the patronage of the Comune di Forio.
