Villa La Colombaia
Organised by Comune di Forio
On Tuesday, November 3 at 4:30 PM, at Villa La Colombaia in Forio d'Ischia, actor Francesco Di Leva will be in conversation with Alessandro Preziosi in the meeting "The art of becoming a character". The discussion will focus on the actor's craft and the work behind every performance: building a character, the relationship between cinema and theatre, and the artistic legacy of Luchino Visconti. Two different paths, those of Di Leva and Preziosi, come together on the same stage. The meeting is coordinated by Gennaro Bianco. The event is part of "QUADRO, oltre l'occhio la realtà", Speciale 120 Visconti, the programme celebrating the 120th anniversary of Visconti's birth with four days of cinema and theatre at La Colombaia, from November 3 to 6, 2026.
