Dialoghi Mediterranei – San Nicola di Centola: a terrace over the sea
Centola (SA)
A walk through the ghost town of San Nicola di Centola, an ancient abandoned village with a breathtaking view of the coastline up to Capo Palinuro. The path winds among stone walls, arches, and climbing plants, offering a timeless experience. The excursion is organized by ADV ArcheoTrekking and is part of the Dialoghi Mediterranei XVIII edition project. The meeting point is at 6:00 PM in Piazza Principe in San Nicola di Centola. Comfortable clothing, trekking shoes, water, and sun protection are recommended. The activity is free but with mandatory reservation (limited places).

The series "Dialoghi Mediterranei, I luoghi del gusto, il tempo del racconto", funded by the Ministry of Tourism, brings to Palinuro a concert dedicated to the repertoire of Battisti and Mogol. On September 12 in Piazza Virgilio, Gianmarco Carroccia presents "Emozioni - Viaggio tra le canzoni di Battisti e Mogol", a show that retraces the great successes of the famous duo.

Dialoghi Mediterranei reaches its 18th edition with a program that combines taste, history and nature. On September 18 in Palinuro you can witness the impressive menaica fishing technique, an ancient local tradition, with a walk and a boarding to see the nets being hauled in. On September 19 in Centola there will be a walk through the alleys of the historic center, among ancient churches and breathtaking views, with a final tasting.

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, Piazza S. Nicola di Mira in Centola hosts the concert of Mietta. The singer, a well-known voice of Italian music, will perform from 9:30 PM in a free-admission live show. An evening designed for the whole community, dedicated to live music.
