Throughout the summer of 2026, Piazzetta San Biagio in the Sasso hamlet transforms into an open-air living room. From late morning until evening, the space is cleared of cars and returned to pedestrians, becoming the heart of the village's social life. The initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Castel di Sasso, aims to create a more livable and safe environment for residents and visitors. The square thus becomes the ideal place for a walk, a meeting, or simply to enjoy the atmosphere of the historic center without the disturbance of traffic. The pedestrian area will be active on sixteen days between May and August, offering an additional opportunity to experience the hamlet calmly during the most beautiful months of the year.

TERRA TREBULANA - On the trails of the ancient Trebulani

A widespread project that invites you to explore the ancient territory of Trebula Balliensis through a blend of archaeology, wine, nature, and villages. The initiative, promoted by the municipalities of Castel di Sasso and Pontelatone, offers cultural, naturalistic, and food-and-wine itineraries designed to enhance the traces of the ancient Trebulani people. The program unfolds over the course of a year, from June 2026 to May 2027, offering the opportunity to discover in different seasons an area rich in history and landscapes still little frequented. The routes touch archaeological sites, wineries, and historic centers, composing a collective story of the territory.

Summer pedestrianization of the Strangolagalli hamlet

The Municipality of Castel di Sasso makes the Piazza Parcheggio of the Strangolagalli hamlet pedestrian-only for the entire summer period, from 7:30 PM to midnight. The initiative, in effect from July 14 to September 26, 2026, transforms the area into a vehicle-free space, promoting socializing and evening events.

Il Natale di Pinocchio. I 200 anni di Carlo Collodi tra tradizione, comunità e meraviglia

In 2026, Puglianello celebrates the bicentenary of Carlo Collodi's birth with a special project that transforms the historic center into the Borgo di Pinocchio. Between November and December, the town sets up an immersive path with scenery, artistic installations, and themed exhibitions, integrated with the traditional Christmas markets. The program combines cultural animation and family activities: animated readings, creative workshops, itinerant theater performances, and Christmas concerts enliven the streets of the borgo. The initiative, promoted by the Pro Loco Franco Pacelli in partnership with the Municipality, aims to involve residents, school groups, and tourists in a widespread and free experience. Access is free and without a ticket. The activities unfold in an itinerant manner among the most characteristic places of the historic center, offering a Christmas designed for children and families but capable of speaking to the entire community.
