Libropolis – Benevento città che legge e vive di cultura

Libropolis returns to Benevento with a new edition of the project turning Piazza IV Novembre into a cultural exchange hub open to all. The initiative, now in its second year, invites citizens to bring non-school books and take others for free, in a free barter aimed at spreading reading and creating opportunities for meeting. The square will host two gazebos set up for the occasion, becoming an informal cultural outpost for several weeks where the book is central as a tool for personal and collective growth. The 2026/27 edition unfolds across three time windows between September and November, confirming the format that had already garnered interest in the previous year. Promoted as a non-profit project, Libropolis combines book dissemination with a culture of prevention, understood as attention to social well-being through shared knowledge.
Mostra "Allegria di un naufragio, vocalismi" di Angelo Sabatiello (Jey)

The solo exhibition by Angelo Sabatiello, known as Jey, brings to the former John premises on Via Traiano a series of mosaics that address the shipwreck as a metaphor for the human condition. The title, "Allegria di un naufragio, vocalismi", suggests an approach where drifting and loss become an opportunity for form and expression, far from a purely catastrophic reading. The exhibition, under the patronage of the Municipality of Benevento, remains open for a whole month, offering time to calmly explore the artifacts and the thematic path proposed by the artist.
Circo Darix Martin presenta M. Orfei

The Circo Darix Martin brings to Benevento the show "M. Orfei" with circus performances for adults and children. The event takes place in via Rivellini, in front of the Palatedeschi, and also includes free shows for disabled people and less affluent families. During Benevento Calcio's home matches, there will be no shows.
Suoni e Ritmi del Sud - 'E voci 'e Napule

On Thursday, September 10, the Roman Theatre of Benevento hosts 'Suoni e Ritmi del Sud - 'E voci 'e Napule', a concert that closes the 14th edition of La Notte delle Streghe. The evening retraces the most beautiful melodies of the classical Neapolitan tradition, in a suggestive archaeological setting. The appointment is at 8:30 PM.
40° Anniversario della Fraternità di Misericordia ODV – Convegno e Processione della Solenne Vestizione

The Association Fraternità di Misericordia ODV of Benevento celebrates the 40th anniversary of its foundation with a conference and a solemn procession. The conference will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at the Teatro La Salle, from 08:00 to 14:00, while the procession of the Solenne Vestizione will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, starting at 18:30 from the association's headquarters at Via Vittorio Veneto 2/A and arriving at the Church of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli, where Holy Mass will follow.
OLOS - Magico Esoterico

L'evento "OLOS - Magico Esoterico" si svolge il 12 e 13 settembre 2026 presso la Fondazione Ciccio Romano, in via Monteguardie a Benevento, nella cornice leggendaria della Ripa delle Janare. Ideato e promosso dall'Associazione Sabba de Nuce, l'evento ad ingresso libero e senza scopo di lucro si propone come un'esperienza di profondo valore culturale, simbolico e iniziatico, dedicata alla conservazione e divulgazione dei riti legati alla tradizione delle Janare.
Festa della Santissima Addolorata 2026

I solenni festeggiamenti civili e religiosi in onore della Santissima Addolorata si svolgono nel Rione Libertà di Benevento, con un ricco programma di eventi. Venerdì 18, sabato 19 e domenica 20 settembre 2026 il quartiere ospita concerti, spettacoli di intrattenimento, un'area Luna Park e stand commerciali. La domenica sera è prevista la solenne processione per le vie del rione, seguita dallo spettacolo di fuochi pirotecnici conclusivo.
Giornate Europee del Patrimonio 2026 a Benevento

In occasione delle Giornate Europee del Patrimonio 2026, il Comune di Benevento aderisce con aperture straordinarie serali di tre siti culturali. Sabato 26 e domenica 27 settembre l'Hortus Conclusus (vico Noce, 39) apre dalle 20:00 alle 24:00 con ingresso libero per ammirare le opere di Mimmo Palladino. Palazzo Paolo V (corso Garibaldi, 145) ospita il Museo dei burattini Mu.di.BU' con apertura straordinaria dalle 18:00 alle 22:00, ingresso gratuito. Domenica 27 settembre, alle 20:30, nell'area archeologica dell'Arco del Sacramento (via Carlo Torre, 13) si tiene il concerto gospel "Miria's Gospel Night" con il Miria's Gospel Choir (ingresso 10 €, prenotazione facoltativa).
