Evening pedestrian zone on Corso Garibaldi

The Municipality of Altavilla Irpina establishes an evening pedestrian zone on Corso Garibaldi, from number 1 to number 120, to encourage walking and stopping at public establishments. The measure is active from August 1 to 26, 2026, from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following day. During the pedestrian zone, two-way traffic is established on Via Ten. Orefice and parking is prohibited on the left side.
Festività in onore di San Pellegrino Martire

Solenni festeggiamenti religiosi e civili in onore di San Pellegrino Martire, patrono della comunità altavillese. La mattina del 24 agosto si svolge la tradizionale e secolare sfilata dei "Battenti", che percorrono a piedi nudi le principali vie cittadine fino a raggiungere le spoglie del Santo custodite nella Chiesa Madre. Il 26 agosto pomeriggio si tiene la processione conclusiva dei fedeli.

The Achille Fardini Theater Company, in collaboration with the Pro Loco Altavillese and under the patronage of the Municipality of Altavilla Irpina, presents the theater festival "Antonio Di Troia" 2026. Seven shows take place at the Teatro Comunale A. Sardone between August 30 and October 4, 2026. The program opens on Sunday, August 30 at 7:00 PM with "Il morto è vivo", directed by Riccardo D'Avanzo. The subscription for the entire festival costs 35 euros, a single ticket 8 euros.
